GC “Nadezhda” increased sales of new household cylinders for liquefied gas TM “BVS” by 20.7%, up to 7 thousand units in 2024 through its own and partner points of sale, compared to 5.8 thousand units in 2023.

Partnership with the Epicenter hypermarket chain
In particular, household cylinders TM BVS appeared on the shelves of Epicenter hypermarkets in June 2023, after the completion of the necessary product certification procedure. Within the framework of cooperation with the Epicenter chain, 1,769 new BVS cylinders were sold throughout 2024 (50 l – 30%, 27 l – 70%).
In addition, buyers purchased 35,000 tourist cylinders “BVS” for portable gas equipment with a collet connection in hypermarkets “Epicenter”, which accounts for 16% of total sales of this product in 2024.
Buying Ukrainian is profitable
“The exact amount of cashback accrued to buyers is determined within the program, however, taking into account the number of cylinders sold through points of sale participating in the program and average retail prices, it can be estimated that during the period October-December 2024, buyers were returned 350-400 thousand UAH,” said Maksym Karandeyev, head of the bottled gas division of the Nadezhda company.
Buyers prefer medium-sized cylinders
The most popular is the 27-liter cylinder, which accounts for 60% of total sales.
Sales structure of BVS cylinders by nominal volume in 2024:
- 50 l – 30%;
- 27 l – 60%;
- 5 l – 10%;
Quality control and safety
The quality of BVS products is controlled by the Expert Center of the State Labor Service of Ukraine. The enterprise-manufacturer of household cylinders (LLC “Navio”) has a certificate of approval of the quality management system of the internal inspection service and an ISO 9001:2015 certificate in the field of production of transportable refillable welded steel cylinders for liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LPG).
“We can confidently state that our partners (manufacturers) are representatives of responsible business who comply with the requirements of current legislation. The products they manufacture comply with the “Technical Regulations for Mobile Pressure Equipment” and European standards, which are also in force in Ukraine,” the company’s representatives say.
In addition, the enterprise-manufacturer of household cylinders, LLC “Navio”, has carried out:
- welder certification (in accordance with EN ISO 9606-1:2017);
- certification of welding machine operators (according to EN ISO 14732:2014);
- certified welding technology (according to EN ISO 15614-1:2017, LEVEL 2);
Certification of welding processes was performed by SIA SERTIFIKACIJAS CENNRS (Riga, Latvia).
